The SCS 15V SS Smart is a vertical band sealer, meaning the pouch stands upright as it travels through the seal zone. This orientation is ideal for liquids, pastes, grains and powders that must not spill before sealing. The conveyor handles up to 5 kg across three load points and the heating bands give a 10 to 12 mm wide continuous seal. A hand-crank column adjusts the sealing head to the pouch height.
Because continuous sealers pull the pouch through at a fixed speed, every seal gets the same heat and pressure, which makes results consistent from the first pouch to the last. Many models can also emboss batch and date codes through the seal wheels, helping with traceability. They are widely used by food, spice, tea, snack and chemical packers.
