This vertical band sealer has a mild steel body and is designed for sealing a wide range of pouch weights, from 1 kg to 20 kg. Two 500W heaters provide a consistent 12 mm seal, a 180V geared motor drives the conveyor, and a 48 x 9 inch conveyor with guide supports the pouch as it travels through the sealing section. Machine height is adjustable, and the unit weighs about 80 kg. Packing capacity is 10 to 15 pouches per minute on a 230V single-phase supply.
Because continuous sealers pull the pouch through at a fixed speed, every seal gets the same heat and pressure, which makes results consistent from the first pouch to the last. Many models can also emboss batch and date codes through the seal wheels, helping with traceability. They are widely used by food, spice, tea, snack and chemical packers.
It is suitable for rice, flour, pulses, spices, fertilisers, seeds, feed and similar goods in bulk-size pouches.
