This vertical band sealer runs on a standard single-phase 220V/50Hz supply, so it can be installed in any small packing unit without special wiring. It seals pouches at 0 to 12 metres per minute with a 12 mm seal width and a temperature that can be set from 0 to 300°C. The front panel carries controls for temperature, speed and an emergency stop, and a height-adjustable column accommodates different pouch heights. The machine measures 17 x 34 x 28 inches.
A continuous band sealer moves the filled pouch between two rotating steel bands that carry it through a heating zone, a cooling zone and finally a pair of embossing wheels. This produces a strong, uniform seam with optional printing of batch details, and the process keeps going without stopping between bags, which suits steady production. Temperature and conveyor speed are adjustable so that thin and thick films can both be sealed properly.
It is useful for spice, tea, namkeen, grain and powder pouches in small and medium production units.
