The P.B. foil sealer is a manual, lever-operated machine that presses a heated plate against foil or film placed on a container rim, creating a firm seal. Three models are available: FS 1045 (sealing diameter up to 90 mm, 200 W), FS 1545 and the FS 1545 Delta (up to 140 mm, 300 W) and FS 2045 (up to 190 mm, 450 W). The head adjusts from 70 to 300 mm above the base, so you can seal short cups and tall tubs on the same machine, and the heavy base keeps the unit steady.
A pressure foil sealer works by heating a metal plate that presses a pre-cut foil or laminated lid onto the rim of a cup or tub. Pressure, temperature and dwell time decide the quality of the seal, and the lever action lets the operator feel when the lid has bonded. The adjustable head height means containers of different heights can be accommodated without modifying the machine.
It is commonly used for curd and dairy cups, ghee tubs, pickle containers, ice-cream cups, plastic jars and food trays where a foil lid gives freshness and tamper protection.
