The PSF-350 is a floor-standing pedal sealer that gives a wide 8 mm seal across 350 mm of bag mouth. A foot pedal closes the sealing bars so both hands are free to hold the bag, which improves speed and seal consistency. Heating time can be adjusted between 0.2 and 2 seconds to suit thin or thick film. The machine runs on AC220V/50Hz at 500W and weighs 18 kg.
Impulse sealing sends a short burst of current through a nichrome element only when the arm is pressed down, so the machine stays cool between seals and uses little power. The film is melted under pressure and held until it cools, which gives a neat airtight seam on polythene, polypropylene and many laminated films. Heating time can be tuned to the film gauge.
It works on poly, laminated and aluminium-foil pouches used for tea, spices, dry fruits, grains, chemicals and hardware.
