This shrink tunnel shrinks POF, PVC and PE film tightly around products as they pass through a heated chamber on a conveyor. A 9.6 kW heater and hot-air circulation deliver even shrinkage. The tunnel opening measures 450 mm wide and up to 350 mm high, with an overall tunnel length of 1200 mm. Conveyor speed is adjustable from 0 to 10 metres per minute and the load capacity is 30 kg. The unit weighs 120 kg and rolls on castors.
A shrink tunnel heats polyolefin, PVC or PE film wrapped loosely around the product so that it contracts into a tight, clear layer. The conveyor carries the product through the heated chamber at a steady speed, while hot air circulates for uniform shrinkage. This is a standard finishing step for multipacks, cartons, bottles and retail goods.
