The Strapping Premium SSP LT is the low-table version of the SSP range. At 450 mm high it sits nicely beside floor-level packing stations and lets operators slide heavy cartons across instead of lifting them. A side-mounted strap reel keeps the working area free, and the machine tensions, seals and cuts strap in an average of 2.5 seconds. It accepts 6 to 12 mm strap and works on packs from 100 x 100 x 100 mm to virtually any size.
Strapping keeps cartons, bundles and pallets rigid and secure during handling and long-distance transport. A strapping machine feeds strap around the pack, tensions it, seals the overlapping ends with heat and cuts it automatically, which is far faster and more consistent than hand tools. Uniform tension reduces damage and the risk of burst cartons.
It is a good choice for heavy cartons, bundles of fabric, paper reams, bags and boxed goods in warehouses, dispatch bays and small factories.
