The mobile sealer is designed for large poly liners and bulk bags that cannot be handled on a table-top machine. A 900 mm sealing arm is mounted on an adjustable column over a wheeled cabinet, so the machine can be rolled to the pallet or filling point and set to the right height. It gives a 5 mm wide seal and draws 1040 VA from a 240V supply. Two versions are listed, 900MSE and the 900MSE SS.
Impulse sealing sends a short burst of current through a nichrome element only when the arm is pressed down, so the machine stays cool between seals and uses little power. The film is melted under pressure and held until it cools, which gives a neat airtight seam on polythene, polypropylene and many laminated films. Heating time can be tuned to the film gauge.
Typical uses include chemical, resin, polymer, fertiliser and food ingredient liners, as well as large poly sheets for garments and export packing.
