The Sonic KH-90 box strapping machine is a heavy-built semi-automatic strapping unit with a 1.2 mm cabinet sheet and a 1.5 mm top cover, designed to last in demanding packing areas. A feather-touch control panel starts the strapping cycle, which tensions, seals and cuts PP strap automatically. The machine uses 12 x 0.55 mm PP strap, accepts packs from 60 mm up to any size, and runs on a 220V/50Hz supply. Castors allow easy movement.
Strapping keeps cartons, bundles and pallets rigid and secure during handling and long-distance transport. A strapping machine feeds strap around the pack, tensions it, seals the overlapping ends with heat and cuts it automatically, which is far faster and more consistent than hand tools. Uniform tension reduces damage and the risk of burst cartons.
