The DIC 380 dry ink coder uses a solid ink roller to print crisp, smudge-free codes on moving products without any liquid solvent. Items travel along the belt and are marked automatically at up to 200 pieces per minute. The print area supports 5 lines of 10 characters each in 2 mm and 3 mm type sizes. The DIC 380WMS is the wider version, handling objects up to 320 mm wide against 195 mm on the standard model.
Motorised coders print as the pack passes through, which gives faster, more repeatable results than manual machines and frees the operator to feed packs instead of stamping each one. Print position, temperature and speed are adjustable on the control panel.
It is ideal for printing on plastic pouches, cartons, paper bags, foil laminates and labels in food, spice, pharma and FMCG packing.
