The DZ 260/PD is a compact chamber vacuum sealer that removes air from a pouch and heat seals it, extending shelf life and preventing oxidation. The single sealing bar is 260 mm long and 10 mm wide. A 370W vacuum pump reaches an ultimate vacuum of 1 kPa. The chamber measures 325 x 285 x 50 mm and the unit runs on 220V/50Hz.
Vacuum packing removes air from the pouch before sealing, which slows oxidation, discourages the growth of aerobic bacteria and reduces freezer burn. Food stays fresher for longer, and non-food items are protected from moisture, rust and dust. Chamber machines are preferred for consistent results because pressure inside and outside the pouch is balanced as the air is drawn out.
