The FR 900 S vertical sealer is a compact continuous band sealing machine in a mild steel body. Pouches are fed on the belt and pass through heated bands that create a 12 mm continuous seal. Temperature is adjustable from 0 to 300°C and sealing speed up to 12 metres per minute, so it handles thin and thick film alike. The machine weighs 23 kg and measures 820 x 400 x 300 mm, so it fits easily on a packing table.
A continuous band sealer moves the filled pouch between two rotating steel bands that carry it through a heating zone, a cooling zone and finally a pair of embossing wheels. This produces a strong, uniform seam with optional printing of batch details, and the process keeps going without stopping between bags, which suits steady production. Temperature and conveyor speed are adjustable so that thin and thick films can both be sealed properly.
It suits pouches of tea, namkeen, spices, confectionery, powders and small hardware, up to 3 kg load per pack.
