This stainless steel FR 900 S vertical sealer on a stand is made for pouches that need to remain upright through the seal zone, such as liquids, pastes and powders. A 500W heater creates a 12 mm continuous seal at a speed of up to 12 metres per minute and a temperature that can be set from 0 to 300°C. The stainless body resists corrosion, wipes clean easily and weighs just 22 kg.
A continuous band sealer moves the filled pouch between two rotating steel bands that carry it through a heating zone, a cooling zone and finally a pair of embossing wheels. This produces a strong, uniform seam with optional printing of batch details, and the process keeps going without stopping between bags, which suits steady production. Temperature and conveyor speed are adjustable so that thin and thick films can both be sealed properly.
It is well suited to sauces, edible oils, pickles, powders and other upright food and pharma pouches up to 3 kg.
