This range of hand-operated impulse sealers closes polythene and laminated pouches with a clean, uniform seam. Press the arm down and the heating element is energised briefly, melting the film and cooling under pressure to form the seal. The range includes eight models: 200Dv2, 250D, 300D, 300HB, 400D, 400HB, 500HB and 600HB, so you can select the seal length that matches your bag size, from small sachets to large poly liners. All models create a 1.6 mm wide seal and run on a 240V supply.
Impulse sealing sends a short burst of current through a nichrome element only when the arm is pressed down, so the machine stays cool between seals and uses little power. The film is melted under pressure and held until it cools, which gives a neat airtight seam on polythene, polypropylene and many laminated films. Heating time can be tuned to the film gauge.
Shops, kitchens, spice packers, tea and coffee sellers, dry fruit retailers, garment packers and pharmacies use impulse sealers daily. They are easy to learn and need very little maintenance.
