The WY-680 is an automatic cup sealing machine that heats and presses film onto the rim of plastic cups. Insert the cup, and the machine seals automatically and cuts the film. It supports cup diameters of 70, 76, 90 and 95 mm and cup heights up to 180 mm. The unit draws 0.35 kW on a 220V single-phase supply and weighs 17.3 kg.
Cup sealing machines heat and press a film or lid onto the rim of a cup so that drinks and desserts can be carried or delivered without spilling. The seal also keeps the contents fresh and shows that the cup has not been opened. A rotating or die-cut mould holds the cup rim in the right place while the heated head fuses the film.
